NeurotechEU
The training methodology within the project will initially draw on the dedicated institutional resources and facilities brought together under the University of Lille’s future graduate program in neuroscience, technology, and society, led by Renaud Jardri (co-PI of the CDP). This comprehensive educational structure will integrate several on-campus disciplinary master’s programs (e.g., biotechnology, translational neuroscience, mathematics, and health), which will add a course unit dedicated to neurotechnologies to their curriculum. The graduate program will also include a joint degree to be established within the framework of the NeurotechEU alliance by 2027. The target audience is broad, and we have already identified three main tracks for students wishing to pursue the program:
- Engineering and related sciences (mathematics, computer science, physics)
- Life sciences (biology, health, neuroscience)
- Humanities (psychology, ethics, and law)
Defining these groups/tracks will enable us to develop refresher courses and standardize the core competencies to be acquired during the first year of the program. We will also draw on the dedicated online resources of the NeurotechEU alliance, to which we contribute, particularly the courses available to all alliance partners on the CAMPUS+ web platform. Successful completion of the program will be rewarded with ECTS credits or doctoral credits, and we plan to use student feedback to improve it each year.
Integration with NeurotechEU
Here is a short video (in english) to introduce NeurotechEU
Welcome to a journey beyond boundaries with Neurotech EU, an alliance of universities dedicated to neurotechnology. By building bridges between disciplines, universities and people, we unite to understand the brain and compatible technologies, creating space for innovative solutions made possible through collaboration. So why do we focus on neurotechnology? As we gain a deeper understanding of the human brain, our view of healthcare, learning and personal identity will change. This knowledge will boost the competitiveness of European education, research and society, and you could be part of the strategic initiative. We are developing an open arena that could completely transform your life path and career. Join our training to gain cutting-edge knowledge and experience beyond borders and disciplines. Build interdisciplinary projects with research partners in your focus area and explore funding and mobility opportunities. improve your career skills through international training and Ready to get started? Go to our website and explore the learning platform for research and education activities. Find courses and lectures from partner universities and join the Q&A forum. Upload public or private content, create training materials and case studies and support learners. Interact socially, discuss ideas and share content and documents within the network. View network profiles to find someone who matches your research area location and needs. Neurotechnology is advancing very fast and significant discoveries still lie ahead. Will all neurological diseases be treatable in the future? Will we discover new ways to improve memory or creativity? Will people continue to exist in a digital form after physical death? These are fascinating questions. Let's explore them together as the Neurotech EU Alliance.
